On Friday the 1st of September I will be joined by Scottish musicians Rachael Liddell, mezzo-soprano and Joanna Stark, Cello for a fundraising concert in aid of the Euan MacDonald Foundation. This charity helps fund the research department at the University of Edinburgh and is one of the only charities that is focusing on finding a cure for this debilitating disease. More information can be found here: http://www.euanmacdonaldcentre.com/
Joanna and I will be performing a selection featuring Schumann's Adagio and Allegro, Saint-Saëns' Allegro Appasionato whilst Racheal will be singing works by Poulenc, Hahn, Clara Schumann, Mozart, Handel and James MacMillan. I will also be playing solo works by Grieg, inspired by my travels to Bergen last summer.
The concert is at 7pm in Kilrymont School & Community Centre in St Andrews.
